Ban new wood-burners
From "What should the SLP do for climate and nature?"
Go to the project
The WHO has made clear the hazard to both human health and the environment caused by the airborne particulates emitted by wood burning stoves. The SLP should make it clear that the time has come to stop putting these devices into new domestic builds, however 'trendy' or appealing they might be felt to be to prospective property buyers. A planning restriction should be in place.

Air pollution affects those with asthma and other respiratory problems, but can also cause these problems in the first place.
