The Authority makes great play of the value to tourism and the local economic benefits of the Heritage assets incorporated in the Conservation Areas within communities like Tewkesbury town, however it allows wheelie bins to proliferate on pavements within that same area! The lack of a policy REQUIRING rather than REQUESTING that such bins are not kept on pavements is unacceptable if we are to truly value and exploit the Heritage assets we have. HSHAZ money is being spent , very usefully, by one group whilst another allows bin blight in the same proximity!

The "Night time" economy in smaller market towns can run in opposition to intention to rebuild resident communities. Tewkesbury for instance has suffered badly in the past by ill run late night venues. Montells and the Abbey Mill were classic examples, there have been others, fun for those living elsewhere, painful for locals. Such venues should be confined to the larger urban areas, Cheltenham and Gloucester.

If a development is right beside an important local heritage area, build sympathetically. If not, don't over regulate house builders during a housing crisis. Just build something.

Need to pay more attention to curating a broader “night time” economy with a wider appeal. More midsize live music venues. Encourage racecourse/centaur to play a wider part and improve transport.
Better transport options into evenings, particularly between urban centres.

@David Heat Agreed, nightlife is important to young people especially and there's no reason we shouldn't encourage it in our town centres with good evening transport and nightlife areas.
