Higher consideration of building secondary schools

From "Strategic Objectives"

Go to the project

It is great to look at expanding established settlements or creating new ones, and as standard these come with the usual facilities of a few shops and a primary school.

However there has been very few secondary schools built.

By increasing the housing numbers, trying to achieve a balance demographic of ages, this results in the number of families increasing and the provision seems lacking once children leave primary.

For example in Quedgeley we have the option of Severn Vale, or if you fancy the hike, there's Holmleigh. Yes there is a grammar school, however we are hearing that local children are being allocated to schools over an hour away due to lack of space. There needs to be more forward thinking solutions.
