We need more accommodation that suits peoples needs and finances, be it rental or purchase. Also differing types and sizes of accommodation. Builders will not offer this as it does not fit their planned builds to achieve on-site profits utilising any site to maximum development. So it requires government intervention and dictate, like social housing. Councils are limited in how they can force builders to built housing for local needs as opposed to developers schemes.
