The Gloucestershire Green belt lacks wildlife and landscape interest and is occupied by uses such as the airport.
It is by far the most sustainable location for new development with all the services of Cheltenham and Gloucester on its doorstep. It also has the best bus route in the county and a brand new cycle highway.
Sensitive development could increase its biodiversity and even landscape value. If the airport was used for residential development there would be other benefits in terms of local amenity.
